Chan (Jackie Chan), and decides to stay in Hong Kong to pursue him under false pretenses.  C.N. himself is involved in a corporate rivalry with a boyhood friend, L.W. Lo (Wakin).  When C.N. bests him in a business maneuver that costs his company huge losses, Lo hires a short, American fighter, Alan (Brad Allen), to challenge C.N. to a martial arts match.  The results of the fight, as well as his growing feelings for Bu, bring C.N. to a crisis point.  He must regain his honor and then lose it again in order to find the happiness and love he so desperately seeks.
